Against All Odds Horsemanship offers

English and Western riding lessons.

 

While we do offer discipline specific lessons such as Hunter/Jumper or Speed Events, we encourage our students to learn both English and Western styles of riding equally.

Private Lessons

 

Private lessons are ideal for beginner riders to learn the basics and/or personal courses for those riders who want to pay attention to specific aspects of their riding.

 

60-minute private lessons - $65.00

 

Private Lesson Package - $300.00

A private lesson package includes five pre-paid one-hour lessons to be used at the student's discretion. This can be scheduled weekly, monthly, bi-weekly, however you please!

(That's $5 off per lesson - a total of $25 savings)

Semi-Private Lessons


Semi-private lessons are reserved for two riders who are similar in their riding levels and are ideal for siblings or best friends of any age to ride together. Semi-private lessons are a great way to help riders learn to respect other equestrians without feeling overwhelmed.
 

60-minute semi-private lessons - $60.00/rider

 

Semi-Private Lesson Package - $275.00/rider

A semi-private lesson package includes five pre-paid one-hour lessons. These lessons are typically scheduled as weekly appointments to avoid students from falling too far behind their classmate should they miss a lesson, but they can be scheduled at the discretion of both rider's if desired.

(That's $5 off per lesson per rider - a total of $25 savings per rider!)

Group Lessons

 

Group lessons are available for 3 or more riders of similar or varying levels of riding ability. Group lessons are a great way for riders to prepare for competition, learn multi-tasking, and develop lifelong friendships.

 

60-minute group lessons - $55.00/rider

Group Lesson Package - $250.00/rider

A group lesson package includes five pre-paid one-hour lessons. These lessons can be used at the student's discretion if they would like to ride with different groups of riders, but groups that like to stick together will be scheduled weekly.

What Do We Teach At AAOH?

JUNIOR RIDER PROGRAM

The Junior Rider Program is for students 12 and younger to learn all the basics of horseback riding and care. Students will be expected to learn basics such as grooming, how to tack and untack a horse, how to ride at a walk, trot, and a canter, and how to perform simple barn chores and tasks. Along the way, they will earn ribbons to display for their achievements.

SENIOR RIDER PROGRAM

The Senior Rider Program is for students 13 and older to learn the basics of horseback riding and horse care, as well as perfect the basics of horseback riding and horsemanship. Students will be expected to properly identify horse equipment, how to ride a horse at a walk, trot, canter, and gallop as well as jump a course, and how to perform above and beyond in barn chores and horse care. Along the way, students will earn ribbons to display for their achievements.

EQUINE CERTIFICATE PROGRAM

The Equine Certificate Program is available to horse people of all ages that want to be more serious equestrians. This program will prepare students to further their experience and knowledge in the world of horses and prepare them for a possible career in the equine industry. Upon completion of this program, students will be ready to introduce others to the wonderful world of horses!
