Pony Pals

Our Pony Pals Program is designed for children who are too young for the routine of riding lessons. There is no commitment to a regular lesson schedule; you can visit once a year, every week, monthly, whenever! Parents or grandparents call ahead of time to schedule an appointment.
The Pony Pal Program includes helping groom and saddle a horse or pony, a 30-minute ride, and then giving your horse or pony a special spa session after your ride (when the weather permits, bubble baths are a fun option!)
We also offer Pony Pals photo shoots!
Preserve this special day with quality photos from AAOH
The Pony Pals Program is a great gift for Grandma to her grandchildren!
How much does it cost?
$20.00
Call (864) 791-1368 and come ride with us.
Can I split the ride between multiple children?
Absolutely! We allow up to 3 children to split the ride to keep it fair (that means 10 minutes to ride for each child).
What should we wear?
Closed-toed shoes are a must. We will provide a helmet if you don't have one, but bicycle helmets are allowed.
Is there anything we should bring?
Carrots or peppermints for the horses are always allowed and appreciated! We strongly recommend bringing water, sunscreen, and a camera to capture the moments as well as an extra change of clothes in case you get wet or exceptionally dirty.

$30.00 for the appointment and $20.00 for a jump-drive with the images from the day (no limit to the photos taken and edited).
What should we wear?
Closed-toes shoes are a must and a helmet is required while mounted, but you can wear just about anything you want for the photo shoot! We do recommend some kind of pants or tights to wear while on the horse, but they aren't mandatory.
Is there anything we should bring?
Carrots or peppermints for the horses are always allowed and appreciated! We strongly recommend bringing water, sunscreen, as well as an extra change of clothes in case you get wet or exceptionally dirty. If you want to bring "props" of any kind, please give us a call to make sure they are safe and allowed around the horses.
